Frequently asked questions
How much does the Import Motors service cost?
A fixed fee of €500, the same whatever the car. You see every other cost — the car, shipping, taxes — itemized before you pay.
How do I order a car that is not in the stock shown on the site?
Through the order form, or directly on WhatsApp or Viber. Tell us the budget, make, model, year, fuel and gearbox you want — or send us a link to a listing you have already found. From there we follow the stages in "How it works".
What happens if the car you find does not match what I asked for?
You get every detail we have — photos, specifications and history where the market provides it — before anything is signed. The contract is signed only once you agree with the offer.
What is included in the cost shown by the calculator?
The car price at source, shipping, customs charges and excise, plus our fee — each shown separately. It excludes registration in the Republic of Moldova and any repairs.
Do you also bring cars from Asia — China and Korea?
Yes. Besides Europe and the USA, we import from China and South Korea. We do not import from Japan.
Do you have cars available immediately, without ordering?
Yes. Those marked "In stock in Chisinau" or "In transit" can be bought without going through the custom order process.
How long does it take from order to delivery in Chisinau?
Roughly: Europe 1–2 weeks, Korea 2.5 months, China 3–4 months, the USA 4–12 weeks. These are estimates — the actual time depends on the specific lot and the shipping schedule.
Do I have to pay everything up front?
You can pay in full or in instalments — we'll agree on whatever works best for you. For example, at US auctions: part after we've won the car, the rest when it reaches the port of Bremerhaven.
What happens if I turn down every option you find?
The advance is refunded in full.
Can I see the car before you actually buy it?
Yes. We send you the photos and video from the auction or the seller before the purchase.
Which documents do I receive when the car is handed over?
You receive the full package needed for registration: the title, the sale-purchase contract, the preliminary contract, the letter of intent, the sworn declaration, the invoice, the certificate, the handover document and the customs declaration.
